“What Does the Tiger Say?”

WHAT IS TIGERTHON?

• A school wide event in which ALL students and staff participate.
• Participants will collect donations and participate in a variety of the day’s events.

WHAT ARE THE GOALS OF THE TIGERTHON?

• To include the ENTIRE CC Wright community in a fitness and safety awareness event.

• To make this the only MAJOR PTO fundraiser of the year.
• Raise the funds needed to improve campus security and safety upgrades i.e. carline shelter.
• 100% of the money goes back to the school.

WHAT DO THE CHILDREN DO FOR TIGERTHON?

• Have a TON OF FUN!
• Use their donation form to collect money for their school.
• Participate in the day’s events.
• All students participate whether they receive any donations.

WHAT DO THE CHILDREN GET FROM THE RUN?

• Understanding of the importance of exercise.
• Appreciation of teamwork and school unity within CC Wright Elementary.
• Every student has a chance to win fabulous prizes. See the back for details!

WHAT ABOUT DONATIONS?

• Sponsors donate their amount to support your child and their school.
• Please do not allow your children to go door-to-door alone to solicit donations.
• Accumulated donations of $20.00 per student will achieve our goal.
• If your family prefers not to solicit donations for this fundraiser, please consider making a flat donation from your family.
• Please return the pledge envelope and donations to school no later than Thursday, March 14th.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE EVENT?

• Donations will allow each child to receive a ticket for the prize raffle! See the back for raffle structure. Each child will only be eligible for a prize raffle if envelope and donations are turned in by Thursday, March 14th.

• PTO will tally up the results and the prize winners will be notified the day of the run.
• 100% of the funds donated will be used to better our school.
