Get your paint ready!
Thank you for supporting CC Wright Elementary PTO with your Spirit Rock reservation. By making a reservation, you adhere to the following:
  • All individuals must supply their own paint.
  • No glitter, stickers, props, etc. may be applied to or used on or around the Spirit Rock.
A reservation is confirmed after the two-step process has been completed:
  1. Sign-Up Genius Calendar to reserve the date
  2. Venmo payment finalized.
All payments are non-refundable.

Please ensure the below guidelines are followed:
  • Reservations will not be rescheduled due to rain or inclement weather.
  • The area surrounding the Spirit Rock must be left in a clean condition after you paint.
  • ONLY the Spirit Rock may be painted. DO NOT paint the sidewalk, grass, pavement, buildings, portables, or any other material surrounding the Spirit Rock. Any group or individual violating this will be held financially responsible for any and all cleaning costs and/or repair costs associated with the violation of this policy.
  • The group or individual painting the Spirit Rock assumes liability for any individual who 1) may be injured while interacting on, at, or near the Spirit Rock during the painting process and 2) may incur clothing or other personal property damage during the painting process.
  • Spirit Rock paintings must be in good taste. The CCW staff and PTO Board will regularly monitor the Spirit Rock to ensure the painted images, messages, symbols, and/or text fall within these guidelines.
  • CCW and the PTO Board have the right to remove any painting deemed inappropriate by the school administration without notice to those who painted the Spirit Rock.
The most popular paint to use is spray paint. It takes about 2 cans of quality spray paint for a good base coat that covers the previous message, then additional cans of colored spray paint for your message/ design of choice. Alternatively, acrylic (non-spray) paint works well for crisper text and designs, although it does take longer to dry.
